About Doctor

I am a Clinical Registered Dietitian and specialize in renal disease, diabetes, GI including enteral (Tube Feedings) and parenteral nutrition. In addition to my private practice, I am currently working as an acute care clinical dietitian at Olive-View UCLA Medical Center, and as an Organ Transplant Dietitian at Keck Medical Center of USC and an outpatient Dialysis Cedars Sinai Medical Center; additionally, have led outpatient diabetes education and weight loss and bariatric education classes at Olive View UCLA Medical Center. My goal is to help and teach my patients how to make nutritionally sound food choices to speed the recovery process.

I use the latest scientifically evidence-based research on medical nutrition therapy consultations to assess, monitor, and optimize nutrition status based on patients’ current chronic medical conditions and/or nutrition adequacy. I review functional blood chemistry analysis, before set any goals and make recommendations for my patients.

I have an extensive experience and helped hundreds of patients at my own private practice to manage their diabetes, slow kidney disease progression and delaying or preventing the need for dialysis by developing personalized nutrition plans while considering factors including nutritional status, medications, and specific chronic diseases control.
